So this is Christmas..

Dear Self,
Though you may be surrounded with family and friends this Christmas time, there is a greater purpose for this season. It is far larger than your desire for fellowship, gifts and praises for your success this past year. It is never the time to boast but to be humble, never the time to be greedy but to be generous, never the time to neglect but to be thankful. Christmas is not about you but Jesus Christ. He whom we call LOVE. This time, desire Jesus Christ in your heart and give this love to a person close to you, a stranger in the park, or a former friend. Christmas is love for a greater purpose outside of yourself. Let’s celebrate it in the way that matters. Merrily.
