A trip to Yongin, Gyeonggi Province was not originally in our itinerary. But we decided to have dinner with the Puguans and Revilezas in Yongin and then go back to Seoul.
The travel time from Seoul to Yongin is approximately 2 hours by bus and train. From Korean Folk Village, we rode the bus 5001-1 bound to Myeonggi, the last station.
The spontaneity of our trip to Yongin made our stay in Korea very memorable. Seeing our church friends and family, the Puguans and Revillezas, made us realize how much we have missed talking to fellow Filipinos and friends face-to-face. Ganun pala talaga kapag nagtatagal sa ibang bansa.
Yongin was masked with cold weather! The temperature dropped at 3 degrees that night. I could not imagine going out without enough covering. Ate Sen saved the day by lending me another jacket to add layer to my thin jacket. I was not ready for this abrupt change of weather. I left my other thick jackets in the hostel.
We had dinner at a Korean restaurant wherein each of us had a samgyeopsal meal, the Korean pork barbecue dish with vegetables, sauces, and small side dishes. All thanks to kuya JM for this wonderful treat! It was a really good experience. I learned a lot about how Korean locals eat.
Macy was a star! The young people in the restaurant kept on looking at her and speaking to her. She even made instant friends. ((:
We also dropped by Myeonggi University where ate Sen and kuya JM disciples students. Kuya JM also studies in Myeonggi. I am so blessed by how God placed them in a country together and how God is mightily using them for His Glory. Amaziiing.
The next morning, we headed back to Seoul to take a bath and prepare for church at Every Nation Korea.
We were so blessed by the worship and the Word.
The people in the church came from different countries. They were all smiling and were very kind. We even joined a Welcome Group even though we were not required to do so. We also met a lot of Filipinos studying and working in Seoul. It was such a wonderful encounter with God's people from every nation.
After having dinner at Hapjeong, the Puguans, Revillezas, and Every Nation Korea friends took a bus to Hongdae. We took a short night stroll and then parted ways.
To sum up everything that happened, my take home from God is written in His letter to me.

Didn't I tell you that this trip is spontaneous?! Instead of just dining with our friends at Yongin, we ended up having an instant sleepover!

Being able to spend our night with our friends in Seoul is a blessing that I will never forget. I learned a lot through our conversations and simply observing them. Nakakatuwa talaga manggulat si God. I feel so blessed.

The next morning, we headed back to Seoul to take a bath and prepare for church at Every Nation Korea.
The church was located in Hapjeong-dong. Hapjeong station was only one station away from Gwangheungchang station. It took 10 minutes from the train station to Every Nation Korea. We just followed the map (see picture below) that kuya JM drew for us early in the morning. It helped a lot for we didn't get lost at all. Hurray!
In Every Nation Korea, we felt very welcome. The minute I walked into the door, a Korean asked if I was a Filipina. Wow! They can sure tell. Hahaha.
